My sister and I own and operate a retail home decor store and do interior design, staging and custom window treatments. We both care about making the world a better place for ALL people to live together in peace and happiness. It all boils down to "treating others as you like to be treated"

Tell us about an act of kindness that transformed your life? (you could have seen, or done, or had done to you)

Growing up, I repeatedly remember that my dad and mom always had neighbors and friends over for dinner. When we went out, it was common for dad to even pick up homeless and bring them to the house to eat. And we NEVER passed someone broken down, without offering assistance. That has always stuck with me, and I find myself trying to do the same things. As a female, in troubled times, I still, with great CAUTION, reach out to help those in need.
