Hello, Kim! I am so thrilled you joined us on the Kindness Cure! I know you to be a very kind person to all you meet. Love your story about helping with the Special Olympics. What a great time you must have had knowing you made a difference in the lives of those young people. I appreciate your ah-ha moment when you realized it wasn't about you. That is such an incredible place to be. Look forward to seeing you soon. Hugs, CJ

Tell us about an act of kindness that transformed your life? (you could have seen, or done, or had done to you)
Working as a volunteer organizer with the World Special Olympics when it was in NC in 1999 was the turning point for me. It was no longer about me and my success; it was the smiles, the appreciation for small acts of kindness that made all the difference in the world. It gave me the impetus to get involved with organizations that I cared about and help in whatever small way I could contribute.
