- I'm Marlene from Calgary. I am a mother/grandmother/author/designer/daycare owner/owner of a multi-business business Paradise Gardens Enterprises.com /founder of Peace Gardens and developing a magazine. I invest in people in many ways and my goal in life is to create a venue, to be used by those in need of love, need to belong and love to give service to others- Peace Gardens, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

- Tell us about an act of kindness that transformed your life? (you could have seen, or done, or had done to you)
- In the midst of depression, autrasized, abandoned, left in poverty with 6 children on the brink of divorce and suicide, I met someone who walked through the darkest of dark with me, carried me through the divorce, got me through hour by hour for the next year and a half, he made me push through the pain, the therapy, the darkness, he helped me discover I was still there under it all, huddling in a little hole under a very large and heavy mountain. He made me laugh, correct my negative thinking, remember who I was (a child of God) and what life was for, he taught me how to let go and how to go on. Now, I share those skills with others and help them with motivation to go on and find their success in life.
