Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself! Where you're from, what you do, what you care about.

I was born in Raleigh, NC but grew up mostly in Smithfield, VA. I looooved living in VA near the water... I couldn't have asked for a better childhood! We moved to Clayton, NC when I was in High School and I attended NC State for college. I just graduated in May '08 and could not be happier at my first real job with the Healing Tree Foundation and the Kindness Cure! I care about my family, friends, animals.. especially elephants, art, music, and making people happy! I also love to travel and meet new people!

How did you hear about the Kindness Cure?

Tell us about an act of kindness that transformed your life? (you could have seen, or done, or had done to you)

When my father was diagnosed with cancer, so many friends/co-workers of his came by our home just to sit with him and offer support. They would bring dinner, his favorite magazines and movies, money, and other things to keep his mind off his pain. I remembered being so touched by everyone and it even made myself, Mom, and brother feel better as well.
