Hi Nichole
Welcome to the Self-Kindness group. I hope you'll be an active member and share with us some of the ways you're kind to yourself.
I love your page color scheme! I've got to check out your website design business, it appears you're very talented. I've cobbled together my own website, but one of these days will want to get some professional help.
Hello, Nichole! Your daughter IS amazing; how precious. Can you share your business website with us? Someone out there may want a web developer in your area of expertise. Thank you for joining the Kindness Cure. I'm sure you'll think of a great story to share. Come back often and visit us! Have a great day, CJ Scarlet

Tell us a little about yourself! Where you're from, what you do, what you care about.
I'm a loving wife to a kind husband and a mom to an amazing toddler, Gabrielle, and my first baby, a beautiful Golden Retriever, Sophie. We live in the Seattle area, and I work from home doing website development. I love my life and feel so blessed to be able to live a life of my choosing. Aside from caring deeply about my family and friends, I care about being kind even in the anonymous realm - in cyberspace, in my vehicle, at the grocery store or Costco. It's too easy these days to hide behind a computer or the wheel of your vehicle and not feel responsible for spewing meanness into the world. It sometimes seems insurmountable to make big changes to make the world a nicer place, but maybe little acts of kindness and graciousness help.
How did you hear about the Kindness Cure?
My incredible and talented friends, Lisa Miles Brady and Susan Johnson.
Tell us about an act of kindness that transformed your life? (you could have seen, or done, or had done to you)
I had to think long and hard about this one - is it the small, everyday kindnesses (that sometimes go unnoticed) that made a difference for me, or is it the big transformative ones - how can I narrow it down just 1?!!! when so many people have touched my life with their compassion and kindness? But one that sticks out in my mind and happened at a big turning point in my life was: I was on an airplane flight coming home from a retreat, and the woman sitting next to me on the plane was terrified of flying. I'm not a social person and usually avoid engaging in small talk with strangers at all costs, but the retreat had been so soul nourishing for me, and I had experienced so much unexpected love and support from others - again, complete strangers - that something provoked me to reach out to her that day. She and I held hands during takeoff and landing and talked like best friends for the entire 3 hour flight. I never heard from her again, but I will never forget the incredible impact that random connection made on me.
